Image Description: Back to the main plaza for a last search for strangers. Walking around the place I saw Alejandra sitting in a sidewalk, she looked very peaceful and relaxed. I had to interrput her moment of a tranquility for a bit and talk with her about the project. She didn't mind and here we are.
Alejandra is a Publicity student. We talked about photography for a few minutes and then i left so she could continue relaxing.

De regreso al zócalo para dar la última vuelta y buscar desconocidos. Caminando por el lugar vi a Alejandra, se veía muy tranquila y relajada sentada en una de las banquetas del zócalo. Tuve que interrumpir su tranquilidad por unos instantes y hablarle del proyecto. No tuvo probelma y aquí estamos.
Alejandra es estudiante de Publicidad. Hablamospor un rato de fotografía y me fuí para que continuara con su momento de relajación.

Image Description: Dispite the fact that the downtown area is my favorite place to wonder around, before i started the project i've never seen Raúl and Tomás. I started to notice them as i was progressing in the project, so i placed them in my list of people i had to photograph.
That afternoon i went to el barrio del artista to exclusively photograph them. They were busy entertaining couples that were in the place. I wasn't in a rush so i waited, i amused myself by watching their show and thinlking on the possible photo for them.
So i could get tehir picture, Raúl asked for any a donation of any amount of money, ehich i didn't mind, since i saw their show 3 times while i was wating. Raúl and Tomás work most of the time at el barrio del artista and every now and then near el teatro principal. They used to work at the main plaza, but since last year there's a new mayor in town, the street vendors / artists policies got more strict and they are not allowed to be in certain places of downtown (including the main plaza), so they left the place.
Their show consists that in turn of a donation of any amount of money, Raúl will play music and Tomás will dance to it. He can dance cumbia, merengue and danzon. Aside from watching Tomás dance, for the coin(s) you give them, they grant you a wish. Let's see if it's true.

A pesar de que el centro es mi lugar favorito para vagar, hasta antes de iniciar el proyecto nunca había visto a Raúl y Tomás. Lo empecé a notar más conforme fuí avanzando en el proyecto, así que los puse en mi lista de personas que tenía que fotografiar.
Aquella tarde fuí al barrio del artista principalmente para fotografiar a Raúl y Tomás. Estaban ocupados entreteniendo a algunas parejas que se encontraban en el lugar, no tenía prisa y esperé, me entretuve viendo su espectaculo y pensando en la posible foto para ellos.
Para que me dejara tomarle una foto, Raúl me pidió una donación de cualquier cantidad de dinero, lo cual no tuve problema, en lo que se desocupaba vi su show 3 veces. Raúl y Tomas trabajan la mayor parte del tiempo en el Barrio del artista y una que otra vez cerca del teatro principal. Solían trabajar en el zócalo, pero debido a que desde el año pasado hay nuevo alcalde, las políticas para ambulantes se han vuelto más estrictas y no están permitidos colocarse en ciertos lugares del centro (entre ellos el zócalo), así que dejaron el lugar.
Su espectaculo consiste en que a cambio de una donación de cualquier cantidad de dinero, Raúl pone musica y Tomás baila. Él puede bailar cumbia, merengue y danzón. Aparte de ver bailar a Tomas, por la(s) moneda(s) que les des, ellos te conceden un deseo. Veamos si se cumple.
