Santuario de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe (Temple of Our Lady of Guadalupe) in Puebla de Zaragoza. The building dates from construction start in 1694 and was dedicated in 1722. Its façade displays the innovative style of architect Diego de la Sierra, which gave a unique character to The facade iss decorated with tiles in horizontal zigzag bands, and its bases are clad in brick. The doorway is crafted in stone in a sober Baroque style with fluted pilasters. At the top, a balustrade defines the complex. The towers feature Solomonic columns with a profusion of relief ornamentation. The domes also use a fusion of Talavera and petatillo brick. Mexican Baroque style. The church compliments the 1987 Puebla de Zaragoza 1987 UNESCO World Heritage Site designation. The church was not open nor on any of our previous Puebla visas.
