The nave of Parroquia de San José in Puebla de Zaragoza. 1 of 2. The interior has three naves fronted by a vestibule that was part of the earlier church, built in 1595. The first chapel of the patron saint was built between 1556 and 1595, shortly before becoming an independent parish. Taking advantage of this building as a portico, the layout was expanded in 1628, marking the current enclosure with a centralized floor plan. The parroquia compliments the Puebla de Zaragoza 1987 UNESCO World Heritage Site designation,
