The Monumento a Francisco I. Madero in Puebla de Zaragoza Parque San José. Francisco Madero (30 Oct, 1873, 22 Feb, 1913) was a Mexican revolutionary and the 10th president of Mexico (1911–13), who successfully ousted the dictator Porfirio Díaz by temporarily unifying various democratic and anti-Díaz forces. The monument was built by Eduardo Tamariz in 1931 and inaugurated in 1932. According to historical records, the first rally for Madero was held in this park on May 15, 1910, during his visit to Puebla.
