The facade of Edificio Maria at the corner of Calle 2 Sur & Av 5 Pointe in Centro Puebla de Zaragoza. The María Building was built in 1946 by Spanish Textile maker Rafael Miranda and designed by architects Manuel Ortiz Monasterio and Bernardo Calderón. The building is noted for its Art Deco style, with its façade featuring Talavera tiles alternating with bricks. The structure was built as an office building and that is its function today. The building compliments the 1987 Puebla UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
