Museo Universitario Casa de los Muñecos (House of Dolls University Museum).at Calle 2 Nte 2, Centro Puebla de Zaragoza. Casa de los Muñecos is a three-story Baroque-style building, typical of 18th-century Puebla architecture, distinguished by the intriguing figures on its façade, images from which its nickname "muñecos" (dolls) derives. In 1983 the Autonomous University of Puebla acquired the property to convert it into a University Museum. After renovations the museum opened 10 December, 1987. More than four thousand pieces make up the museum collection of scientific instruments, furniture, photographs, plasterwork, paintings, prints, and watercolours. The building compliments the 1987 Puebla UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
