During the COVID 19 pandemic in 2020, I decided to take this time to travel backward and revisit my old scanned photos. This is one of the digitally altered photos I did during this difficult time, and I consider this project to be an accomplishment. It was uplifting my spirit. This shows the overall view of the Great Pyramid of Cholula and Nuestra Señora de los Remedios Church in Cholula, Mexico. This mix of Spanish and Indigenous heritage is one of the most defining features of Mexico. While my memory of the details of Cholula has faded, the excitement of this trip has not, and I still remember it with fondness.
