The top of the old pyramid in Cholula offers good views in all directions. This is looking toward Popocatépetl an active Stratovolcano, the second highest peak in Mexico after Pico de Orizaba. Popocatépetl is one of the most active volcanoes in Mexico and the most famous, having had more than 15 major eruptions since the arrival of the Spanish in 1519. The latest one was 22 Jan 2019.
