Puebla Cathedral Puebla, Mexico. It was started in November 1575 and was built by the architect Francisco Becerra. The construction was stopped in 1626 and wasn't restarted until 1640 when the bishop of Puebla Juan de Palafox was ordered by the king to finish it, which he did 8 years after. On April 18th 1649, the temple was consecrated in honor of the virgin Mary. It was not entirely completed until 1690. The front facade was built out of a black canther and it has two towers — one with no bells. This is because of the legend that tells that an underground river passes under that tower, and if they put bells in it, it would collapse. wikipedia.com
